The Post

A school crossing patrol officer is responsible for assisting children to cross the road safely on their way to and from school, this is achieved by standing in the middle of the road and stopping traffic when the children arrive at your crossing point in Chaplin Road. You will be required to work for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon during school term time.  

The Person

We are looking for someone that is friendly, has great communication skills and enjoys working with children. You must be prepared to work outside in all weathers and prepared to take control of situations that may arise involving drivers and their vehicles. Good timekeeping is critical.

No previous experience or qualifications are required although you must be able to record details of any incidents that may arise.
