We are seeking to appoint a full time Academic Mentor on fixed term, term time only contract
(£19,000 a year)

Lister Community School is looking to appoint an Academic Mentor with a subject specialism in either Science, English, Maths, Humanities or MFL who is confident, approachable and passionate about making a difference to the students in our community. The successful candidate will assist in bridging the gap caused by the impact of the pandemic and will work closely with the heads of subject to ensure that students achieve.
Applicants must have a university degree (2.2) or above. All applicants must also have Level 4 (Grade C) or above in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
Lister is a successful community comprehensive, with specialisms in Science and Music, and provides a broad and rich curriculum for all its students. The school is part of the Newham Community Schools Trust (NCST) with three other secondary schools within the area.
