Street Cleansing Driver and Street Cleansing Operative
Our Street Cleansing team have vacancies for part time Street Cleansing Operatives and Drivers.
Greener Ealing Ltd (GEL) provides high-quality Waste Collection, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance and other environmental services for our customers, the London Borough of Ealing, it’s residents and other service users.
Our vision is for Greener Ealing to be recognised as one of the leading environmental service providers in West London and across the capital.
Street Cleansing Operatives
You will undertake all aspects of street cleaning work
- sweeping
- litter picking
- weed removal
- litter bin emptying
- fly tip removal
Including scheduled and reactive cleaning using both manual and mechanical methods.
Drivers
- You will be required to Drive or operate GEL vehicles and plant required to complete cleaning duties in an appropriate professional manner.
- You will be required to complete appropriate safety checks on all vehicles, plant and equipment and carry out reporting defects as required.
- You will also be required to undertake all the cleansing duties above.
What we offer:
- £11.00 per hour for Street Cleansing Operatives and £12.24 per hour for Street Cleansing Drivers (pay award pending)
- Part time hours available including weekend only

- 24 days’ holiday plus bank-holidays
