One of the challenges of large organisations is how they stay connected and close to their customers. Our approach to this, is to introduce a locality model where services are delivered by local teams in defined areas. Five localities have been defined across the business and each is managed at a senior level by a Managing Director.
The role of the Managing Director is to lead and co-ordinate all local services in their business area; they will be fully engaged with customers, local politicians, and stakeholders and be able to operate across the organisation with authority to ensure quality customer-focused service provision and insight into the quality of stock and the profile of customers. They will be accountable and have autonomy to translate our corporate objectives into local plans that make a difference to customers on a local level.
The MD is a new role in the group and will be an entirely fresh approach to leadership, accountability, and collaborative working.
We are now looking for a new MD to cover the South London locality. This will be an experienced Operations Director who has played a significant role in improving customer services and delivering change management within a complex sector. You will have experience of leading large multi-disciplinary teams, with effective delegation, coaching and risk management skills.
As our customer is at the forefront of everything we do, you will have an impressive track-record of delivering excellent customer service, through putting the customer at the centre of what you do.
You will be someone who will be great at building an accountable and empowered teams, with track record to demonstrate this and you’ll deliver easy, reliable, empathetic services to your internal and external customers, by seeking to understand fully your customers’ needs, and always doing what you say you will do.
