Based within the Climate Change team, within the Good Growth directorate, you will support delivery of a key Mayoral objective. Working to support the Green Finance Programmes Manager to deliver a pipeline of projects worth over £500 million in investment that contribute towards the Mayor’s 2030 net zero target. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the green finance programme business plan, providing guidance, support and insights on projects and key metrics.
You will help develop and maintain a project plan supporting the delivery of projects and tasks to ensure the green finance programme is delivered within agreed time, cost and quality constraints. You will be responsible for reporting progress to senior stakeholders, identifying and reporting on key project issues, risks and mitigations – working closely with the teams two Stakeholder Engagement Managers.
You will have strong project management skills, with experience of working with public sector organisations. Experience of delivering finance and/or climate related projects is desirable.

This role will be based at London Fire Brigade’s Head Office (Union Street SE1 0LL). GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
