Job Title: Safeguarding Officer required as soon as possible

Start Date: As soon as possible  

Brampton Primary is a popular, successful and inclusive four-form school set in East Ham.  Our children are well-behaved and hard working.  We pride ourselves on being the hub of a diverse local community and we have built excellent relationships with parents and carers. 

We are hoping to appoint as soon as possible a Safeguarding Officer who is a highly motivated, resilient and experienced individual to support our children and their families. You will be required to work in partnership with parents and to increase parental engagement.  You will also be required to undertake safeguarding duties and work in collaboration with the senior leadership team.

As a committed Safeguarding Officer at Brampton Primary School, we expect dedication and hard work to secure the very best support for our children and their families. An individual who will make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families within the school community.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Safeguarding experience
  • Experience of working in environments where barriers to social inclusion are identified and a positive ethos developed    
  • Delivering advice, support and training   
  • Have a record of developing positive relationships with children and their families
  • Multi-agency working
