Clinical Practitioner – Systemic Psychotherapist/Practitioner Psychologist/Equivalent Profession

We’re looking for Clinical Practitioners to support Children’s Social Care Teams and work directly with children and families. You will use a systemic framework providing clinical expertise to improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families, including preventing and reducing risk of child exploitation.
Our current opportunities include working in our intensive multi-modal Keeping Families Together Team, supporting families where there is a risk of a young person (aged 11 to 17) coming into care and supporting rehabilitation home from care. The clinical practitioner supports the team to use collaborative, systemic and therapeutic approaches to assess, plan and deliver collaborative interventions.
Our other role is within the care leavers’ service where you will provide therapeutic interventions to young people, bring a clinical perspective to social work team meetings, supervisions, and decision making panels, as well as contributing to staff development through to training. This is a dynamic and rewarding service to work in.
The posts are suitable for UK registered therapists and mental health professionals such as systemic therapists, practitioner psychologists or those with equivalent qualifications.
These roles have the scope to transform the lives of every child, adolescent, parent and carer you come into contact with. You will therefore need to have a solid grasp of a range of interventions and a proven record of working systemically to create change for children and families.
We are particularly keen to meet applicants with skills in working with adults as well as with children, and who have skills in psychometric assessments.

This post attracts an additional payment of 10% basic salary as RMHP supplement.
This post is fixed term for 12 months.
