SITE SERVICES OFFICER

REF: SSO /ST

Salary: Scale 5, £25,578 - £27,471 (inclusive of London Weighting)

Hours: 36 hours Monday to Friday (split shift 7.30am-10am and 5pm – 10pm term time. Out of term time hours is 7.30am - 10am and 1pm – 6pm)

An enthusiastic proactive and self-motivated Site Services Officer is required for a bustling adult learning site. The successful candidate will be willing to lead / contribute towards the effective provision of the site services. These will include the following:

• Site Maintenance, minor repairs, painting and decorating etc.
• Contractor visits coordination
• Security (opening and locking up building)
• Porterage
• Ground Maintenance
• Cleaning (emergency)
• Health and Safety

It is essential that you have a flexible approach, a high degree of motivation and be fully committed to working in an adult learning environment. You will be required to show initiative and promote a positive image of the site through your work.

Previous adult learning experience is not necessary but is desirable.
