The following position/s are vacant at The Markhouse Centre- Day service for adults with Learning Disability, Complex needs and Autism.
Team based at 247 Markhouse Rd, Walthamstow, E17 8DW.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualities at a level that is appropriate to the post being applied for:
- A good understanding of the social and care needs of adults with a learning disability based, Complex needs and Autism on experience of working in a health, social care, or community setting. (Transferable skills will be considered)

Team Leader (Fulltime) Permanent
The Markhouse Centre is currently being remodelled to meet the needs of adults with a learning disability, complex needs and Autism in a more personalised and person-centred way to meet identified outcomes. This is an exciting time for us and we are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has great leadership experience to join the management team.
You will need supervisory and management experience, a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adults with learning disabilities and a good understanding of how to support a team through a period of change. It is essential that you are IT literate and have good presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
It is essential that you are a good communicator and facilitator with good team building and conflict management skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work within our current day opportunities team.
