We have an exciting opportunity for a People Assistant to join our enthusiastic and motivated highly professional People Team.
To be successful in this role, you will have good organisation, administration, and co-ordination skills. If you have previous experience as an administrator or assistant and are looking for an opportunity to work within HR, then this role could be for you.
This role will be working on a Fixed Term Contract until March 2023.
What you’ll be doing as People Assistant
- Acting as an initial point of contact for employees and line managers, and answering basic queries on processes, policies and procedures relating to the employee lifecycle.
- As part of the People Support Team you will carry out a range of people-related administrative activities including on-boarding tasks for new starters, data inputting to our HR Information System, providing basic management information and supplier and invoice management.
What you’ll need
You’ll have previous administration experience within a busy team and have excellent attention to detail. You’ll be a great team player who is able to work well with colleagues and who sees the importance of confidentiality in your work.
You'll be able to take a common-sense approach to get things done and be able to prioritise your workload within tight deadlines, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks.
This position will be based in Building 800, Guillat Avenue, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, ME9 8GU. With a view for the successful applicant to work a Hybrid working pattern and a minimum of working 1 -2 days per week working within the office.
