SEN ASSESSMENT SERVICE - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract or a Secondment Opportunity for LBE staff
Ealing Council are recruiting an EHCP Amendment officer on a 12 month fixed term contract starting as soon as possible. The EHCP Amendment Officer will support the SEN team to ensure that the Education Health and Care Plans drafted to a high standard and are regularly updated and of a good quality.
You will be required to collect information from a range of sources and reports and use them to develop a concise and clear EHCP that can be used to support the child or young person in their educational setting. This will include working in partnership with families, education providers and a range of professionals where appropriate.
You will be working within an experienced and supportive team and have many opportunities to extend your skills and experience as well as opportunities for progression. Continuous professional development is actively encouraged.
This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
