We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an Accommodation Manager to join a growing, customer and colleague focused organisation as we prepare for our forthcoming merger with Southern Housing Group, planned for January 2023.
As a valued member of our Commercial Services team working out of our student accommodation buildings, you will provide excellent accommodation services to customers. You’ll work closely with central services and the University, promoting engaging and positive relationships. You will lead on the local delivery of our operational plans, ensuring KPIs are achieved, contractual obligations met and maximising occupancy and income. You’ll lead in managing the site office, including staff and budget.
This role is being offered on a permanent contract working 36 hours per week. You’ll be given the opportunity to work from home a minimum of 2 days a week, dependant on business needs.
What you’ll need
- An understanding of student services including best practice.
- An understanding of the ANUK framework for landlords managing accommodation.
- Good knowledge of health & safety and compliance in a residential setting.
- Good knowledge of equality and diversity.
- You’ll be an effective communicator, with strong people management skills including staff development and motivation.
- Budget management skills.
- The ability to work productively with internal departments, external partners and other bodies.
