If you answered yes, then please consider our role as Risk Officer (Shared Service) for London Borough of Redbridge, as part of the shared service team within Waltham Forest.

We are looking for that special someone, who has a risk management background, understands risk management processes and wants to make a real difference to the community.

This is a very exciting opportunity supporting the London Borough of Redbridge as part of the Shared Service team across both Redbridge and Waltham Forest, reporting into the Head of Insurance and Risk Management, meeting colleagues from every department across both councils.

You’ll be able to flex the hours you work across home, Ilford Townhall and occasionally Walthamstow Town Hall, as the work requires, in a truly flexible hybrid way of working.

This is a fast paced environment, where you’ll be empowered to make decisions on risk management, providing exceptional decision making support to front line services whilst given the right level of support from senior management in the organisations.
