Communications & Engagement Manager
Tower Hamlets Early Help and Children and Families Service (EHCFS) team is pivotal in delivering the councils Early Help offer for children, young people and families in the borough. We are looking for an experienced and competent Communications and Engagement Manager. This role will focus on communications and engagement across the Early Help and Children and Families Service portfolio, overseeing, managing and supporting the development, implementation and outcomes of key projects and campaigns within the directorate.
The role will deliver community engagement and communications throughout the planning and development phases of projects to children, young people and families, along with engaging internal staff and wider services in the Council.
The role will be responsible for contributing to the Service’s engagement work through Corporate Communications. This includes creatively drafting social media posts, marketing materials and technical Early Help publications, strategic planning, internal communications, public consultation communications, engagement and campaigns to ensure that messages on Council platforms are positive, honest, timely, accurate and always represent the Service’s best interests and align with Corporate Policy.
