Role Summary
The Commercial Manager drives the commercial and contractual agenda for the Company. You will be a key member of the Operations Leadership Team and will need to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, funders, and suppliers, to ensure there is commercial scrutiny of:
- supply chain and contract management,
- procurement and grant making decisions.
- external funding applications and income contracts
- business processes and outsourcing arrangements
Responsible for setting the strategic direction for commercial activity; supporting day-to-day procurement activity, collaborating on bids for additional funding and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, with particular focus on keeping up with best practice in publicprocurement. The role will be accountable for demonstrating compliance with internal policies and contractual obligations and evidencing value for money in all contractual and commercial dealings and identifying business processes efficiencies.
