Reablement Practice Manager
£49,083 - £52,116 per annum (Plus £3,000 market supplement)

About the Role

Our Reablement service offer is undergoing service improvements to ensure that we have the capacity and responsiveness to meet increased future demand. There is a strong vision of integrated and collaborative services across the Adults and Health Directorate and with our partners, so this is an exciting time to join the Reablement service as a Practice Manager and help shape the offer. You will work closely with the Reablement Team Manager and be supported by the Service Manager for Independence to deliver the changes at pace. This roles provide an excellent opportunity to advance and build on your supervisory and management skills. The Practice Manager role is critical to ensuring service improvements are implemented and embedded to deliver a high quality Reablement service.

About You

We are looking for a well-organised and efficient individual, who is keen to improve service delivery within tight-timescales. Are you able to inspire change and bring the team with you? You must be passionate about making a positive difference to the wellbeing and quality of life of disabled and older Newham residents through short-term services, and confident managing Reablement practice. A desire for innovation will help you to meet the challenges of this role. We need leaders who are confident in applying the Care Act and other relevant legislation, best practice guidance, and have a clear performance focus. A practitioners who is enthusiastic about supporting supervisees to develop their potential. You must be a qualified and registered professional for this vacancy e.g. Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Nurse.
